I know its fat-man mentality to write a blog post about a burger joint. who cares. Burgers to america is rice to asia. I made it a goal to go to all the burger joints while travelling the US and YES we pretty much hit them all. At first It was awesome, fat burgers…americans diffinitely have their fring down too - the fries always got that first batch taste…size large NZ is size small here in the US, I brought back a supersize Jack in the box soda cup and to prevent it from breaking i put 3 t-shirts in my backpack! BUt after a while we got sick of eating burgers, We always felt hungry if we were not full! there is something in fast food that tricks your mind…if it wasn’t for all the walking we did I would be a fatface for sure. Even though we didnt want to eat burgers, thats all you can find. You have to go out of your way in LA (and drive) just to find healthy food!
Everyone raves on about in-n-out burgers. Hands down, best burgers and fries i’ve ever tasted. this place is the truth.
WE went to the one in vegas, it was raging…the line was long and they had 2 seperate stores next door to each other…there had to be 30 people working behind the counter.

Animal Fries + the double double + choc shake = heart stopper

Ha, your smiling now, thats gonna go straight to the gut when were on the bus for 5 hours!

Vegas is spectacular, no doubt. You have to fly in and look out the window to appreciate how people could manipulate a desert like they have here in Nevada. My first thought of Vegas was glamour and heat. Because we were there in November it was damn cold…once the sun goes down its hoodie time. Some days the sun was blazing but the temp had to be around 10c. Glamour- yes! Themed hotels are crazy, but if you don’t have money its ok, you can walk into hotels and mooch off free drinks and entertainment and all-you-can-eat buffets, it’s all about getting you to gamble, if you look the part they will treat you well. If you come sun to Thurs, accommodation is cheap, and over the weekend you can move to a hotel off the strip for cheaper rates and dodgier crowds if you wanted too. What I found out about Vegas is its damn sleazy, you can’t walk down a street or get into a cab without being offered sin service….and between all the glamour of what you see on TV and in your own eyes there is trash (is that the word?) e.g. couples Hawaiian shirts, slippers on the gambling floor, fat people on mobility scooters drinking soda from 5L buckets, people sleeping on slot machines - people that are obviously gambling their life away…it’s got to be the meeting point for everyone to taste the high life. I’m not bagging on Vegas, I’m a fan! See you later Vegas

Las Vegas is damn expensive from thursday to saturday. If you wanna save $$, diffinetly come from sunday to thursday! we scored rooms at the Stratosphere Hotel for $40 a room. thats the same price per person for a hostel.
