NBA!!!

the main reason for the trip was to see the NBA.

coming into the the most important day in my life, nerves were high…word was kobe was gonna get traded, he had missed a few games before that day because he was on the trading block. we did not pay paid premium tickets to see kobe was in a suit! had it happen, I would have to walk to a liquor store in Compton at nightfall.

a ah kobe did play! and he sure did put on a show, the KOBE show… i cannot believe how good this guy is. you need to see him dominate live to really appreciate his skills…btw the lakers played well, utah were ok. check out the box score

The clippers wasjust collateral. They happen to be playing 5hrs before them, so we decided to make it a day and see both. there are suh contrasts to each game environment. its amazing how they clean up and change all the banners, floor and markings for the next game.

downtown LA get off at PICO station then walk to the Staples Center

the stadium doesnt even get busy till 1/2hr before a game.

errr the clippers are a good no nonsense team they beat seattle that day
but you can tell they are a second class team in LA…they had about half the crowd of the lakers that day. They could never steal the heart of the people of LA - theyre all about drama.

tip: pay cheap seats for the clippers
